Disability is the cause of hindrance to normal life activities. Such curse spreads its wings among a large portion of our total population. They are people with special needs and require a little support for society for fulfillment of their dreams. Several people like Helen Keller, Stephen Hawking, Beethoven and among Indian Rabindro Jain, Masudur Rahaman Vaidya, dancer Sudha Chandran, Kanchan Gabba, Sadhan Gupta proved that a man can rise above his/her weakness. The number of institutions working with such people specially with disabled children are very few in comparison to growing number of disabled population.
We, the residents of Kasba, have felt the need to establish such an Institution in our locality. We wish to start our activities at 39/3,
The objective of our Institute is to assure maximum different skills to early identified children (3 months to 18 years) through the special training in different skill area to help them developing their verbal communication, cognitive, academic, vocational skill for main streaming in the society.
Our mission is to promote various activities for prevention, identification and early intervention of special needs.
In order to fulfill our objective and mission, we like to offer (A) In house services like Assessment, programming of HI, MR, Autism, ADHD, CP, Multiple Disability Counseling, Behaviour modification, Educational guidance, Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, Language training, Music, Art & craft, Yoga etc. (B) Out patient department which include ENT, Pediatric, Skin, Orthopedic, Audiometry, Tympanometry, hearing aid trial, OT, PT, Psychological assessments etc.
For one can easily understand that, providing such services and to accomplish the objectives our institute needs finance. We firmly believe that the sapling of today will become a huge tree which will act as an umbrella to protect a lot of differently abled children. For that purpose our institution need finance. We are requesting you to take the necessary steps for providing finance to our institution. A budget showing the requirement of finance for Two years has been appended herewith for your kind perusal. An early action will be highly appreciated.
